Meet Jonathan, A Degree Holder Making Money From Selling Kooko And Koose On The Streets

In a world where some amount buyers struggle to find work, Jonathan Junior Asamoah, from Hohoe in the Volta Region, a BSc. Administration graduate from the University of Ghana, Legon, has defied the odds by building a successful business selling koko ( porridge ) and koose ( bean cakes ) on the streets.
In an exclusive interview with Ghanacelebrities.com, Jonathan revealed how he stayed at home for over a month after his National Service.
After completing college and facing confined work opportunities, Jonathan refused to be idle. Rather, he ventured into the meal foods company, a choice that has now blossomed into a thriving business with 12 trees.
It was very challenging for me as a young man who had finished college without a job. I applied for so many positions, but when I didn’t hear from any of them, I made the decision to launch my personal business. He told Ghanacelebrities.com.
Jonathan’s dedication and perseverance have even resulted in the opening of A1 Restaurant, which provides distribution services and has opened up employment opportunities for other young people.
Jonathan’s history is a strong enthusiasm, proving that victory is not only found in office work but also in entrepreneurship and innovation. His trip is a visit to all poor graduates: don’t sit at home with your certificate—start anything, be purposeful, and success will follow.
