The South African Weather Service has warned of severe thunderstorms with possible heavy rain, which may lead to localised flooding, hail, excessive lightning and strong winds in parts of the Free State, western KwaZulu-Natal and eastern Mpumalanga with fine, warm to hot conditions in other provinces.
