News24 | ‘We have failed’: KZN takes blame for delayed R74m school revamp 

​The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Public Works and Infrastructure has admitted to failing hundreds of schoolchildren after a R74-million revamp at Sibonginhlanhla Primary School in Waterloo, north of Durban, was repeatedly delayed, forcing pupils into unsafe temporary classrooms for two years and counting, and costing taxpayers an extra R10 million in the process.
