Henry Onyekuru is close to finalizing a transfer to the Turkish Super Lig team Gençlerbirliği, according to Completesports. According to reports from Turkey, Gençlerbirliği has engaged in discussions with Onyekuru’s agents and is advancing in the process of a potential transfer. The 28-year-old recently played in the Saudi Arabia Professional Football League for Al-Fahya. Additionally, Bayern Munich has completed the signing of a Nigerian striker. The winger netted 11 goals in 38 matches during his two-year tenure at Al-Fahya. Onyekuru is a familiar name in Turkey, having played for the reigning champions Galatasaray and Adana Demirspor. This adaptable winger had three separate periods at Galatasaray, where he achieved a domestic double with the team in the 2018/19 season.
