The Osun State Police Command has announced that the written examination for police recruitment will hold from April 28 to 30, 2026 for eligible applicants across the state.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abiodun Ojelabi in Osogbo on Saturday.
According to the statement, āthe exercise is being conducted by the Police Service Commission, PSC, in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force.ā
It stated that āthe examination for Osun State applicants will take place at Osun State University, UNIOSUN, Oke-Baale Campus.ā
The command noted that āonly candidates who successfully passed the physical and credentials screening stage would be eligible to participate in the written examination.ā
Applicants were advised to log on to the recruitment portal from April 24, 2026 to print their examination invitation cards, which contain details of their test schedules.
āThe Commission has fixed 28ā30 April 2026 for the written examination for applicants seeking enlistment as Police Constables,ā the statement read.
It directed candidates who were earlier scheduled for 27 April to revisit the portal, noting that there had been adjustments to the timetable.
āThe applicants who are yet to receive any message should check the website too, in order to print their invitation letter,ā the statement added.
The Commission also listed items required on the examination day, including āa pen, National Identification Number slip, printed invitation card, and a dress code of white shorts, white T-shirt and white canvas.ā
It warned that the recruitment process is free, stressing that āany form of job racketeering, scams, or financial inducement will be met with the full force of the law.ā
