Scheifele’s hat technique propels Winnipeg Jets to 5-2 succeed in Toronto

Toronto had a good chance to re-enter the game after getting a double-minor high stay charges from Mason Appleton at the 4:16 mark of the second time, and they did so thanks to their celebrity players, who tricked them when an off-speed complete from Marner fooled the Jets before getting on John Tavares ‘ stick for a back-door tap-in. The Jets held on for a 2-1 result in the first leg of the double-minor, which gave Toronto two more days to try and equalize on the strength enjoy.
