Security forces have recorded a major success in Zamfara State after reportedly killing a notorious bandit commander during an operation in the state.
This was contained in a post shared on X on Wednesday by security analyst Bakatsine.
According to the post, the operation took place in Ajjah Forest, Mada area of Gusau Local Government Area.
It stated that several bandits were neutralised during the operation, including a senior commander identified as Kachalla Dunbulum.
“This afternoon, security forces recorded a major operational success in Ajjah Forest, Mada area of Gusau LGA, Zamfara State. Several bandits were reportedly neutralised, including a senior commander identified as Kachalla Dunbulum. Others were arrested and taken into custody,” Bakatsine wrote.
“This development marks a significant step in ongoing efforts to restore security in Zamfara and weaken bandit networks operating in the region.
“Commendation to the security personnel for their courage, professionalism, and sacrifice. Sustained operations like this are vital to protecting communities and advancing peace,” he added.
