​Senegal: a residence permit now required for Mauritanians 

  A new agreement signed between Mauritania and Senegal rebates the mobility cards between the two countries. From now on, Mauritanian nationals wishing to settle in Senegal for a period of more than three months must obtain a residence permit. Their presence, hitherto tolerated with a certain degree of flexibility, will now be subject to a simplified but supervised procedure. I know. The residence card, valid for one year, will be issued against the payment of 5 000 FCFA. For a first application, no employment contract or proof of income will be required.
