​Vélingara: A collision between a truck and a minicar transporting students has left 2 dead and 29 injured 

  Two dead and several injured, this is the provisional report of a serious road accident which occurred this Saturday morning at around 9 o’clock, on the RN6 à hauteur de Saré Thialli, in the commune of Saré Coly Sallé (département de Vélingara). The tragedy occurred when a minicar transporting students from the CEM de Saré Coly Sallé violently collided with a truck registered AA 504 FK, coming from Vélingara. The students were on a teaching visit. The crash completely destroyed the minicar (immatriculé AA 287 KJ), which suffered significant damage. The wounded were evacuated urgently to the health centre of Vélingara, where they are currently being treated. An investigation is underway to determine the exact causes of the accident.
