‘The Doorway To Abu Dhabi’ Festival Launched In Moscow 

Moscow – The “Discover Abu Dhabi” festival has launched in Moscow, where guests can experience the atmosphere of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

This week, Deputy Mayor Maksim Likhutov stated that Moscow and the UAE were entering a new stage of cooperation, including in the fields of transport and industry.

Deputy Mayor Likhutov said cultural exchange remained important.

From August 19 to 23, visitors and guests can experience historical heritage and traditions of Abu Dhabi at Manezhnaya Square.

Moscow residents and guests of the capital are invited to:

  • Master classes in ancient crafts.
  • Musical and dance performances.
  • Dishes of Emirati cuisine.

“We actively cooperate with colleagues from the United Arab Emirates by order of Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin,” said Deputy Mayor Likhutov.

“Recently, a UAE delegation attended the International Transport Summit in Moscow.”

With the participation of the Traffic Management Center, a tripartite memorandum on the digitalisation of urban development was signed with the Emirati company SAAED.

“We care about the comfort of guests from the UAE and other Middle Eastern countries,” said the deputy mayor.

The “Moscow Metro” app and the Moscow Metro map have been translated into Arabic.

In the “Metro Tours” project, guides conduct programs in Arabic.
