The Prime Minister of Senegal, Mr Ousmane Sonko, will pay an official visit to Turkey from 6 to 10 August 2025. The information was confirmed by a note from the Senegalese embassy in Ankara. On the occasion of this visit, the Senegalese Head of Government will meet with the Senegalese community established in Turkey. The meeting is scheduled for Saturday 9 August at 20:00, at the Hotel Le Méridien d’Istanbul. It will provide a framework for direct exchanges between the Prime Minister and Senegalese nationals on issues related to their situation, their expectations and their contribution to the development of the country. Earlier in the day, a Senegalese-Turkish economic forum will be held at the same place, from 09h00.
