Kannywood actress, Rashida Adamu Abdullahi Maisa’a has suggested that Nigeria enjoys a high level of security, dismissing concerns over insecurity as exaggerated.
The actress made the remark while speaking on the Dokin Ƙarfe TV Podcast, where she expressed confidence that President Bola Tinubu would secure re-election in the 2027 presidential election.
According to Rashida, the country has “a lot of security,” insisting that many people are overstating the security challenges facing Nigeria.
She also said she believes Tinubu would, by the grace of God, emerge victorious at the polls in 2027.
Her comments come amid ongoing debate over the country’s security situation, with the Federal Government maintaining that security efforts are yielding results, while many communities continue to grapple with attacks by terrorists, bandits and other criminal groups.
