This Shows Ghanaian Judges are the Problem – Netizens React to Anas Aremeyaw Anas Winning $18m Defamation Case Against Kennedy Agyapong in the U.S.

Ghanaian social media users have dragged Ghanaian judges after investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas won a defamation case against Kennedy Agyapong in the United States of America.
Anas sued Kennedy Ohene Ayapong, former NPP presidential candidate and former member of parliament (MP) for Assin Central, for defamation in regard to comments Agyapong passed against him.
The Tiger Eye PI investigative kingpin sued Agyapong in Essex County, New Jersey, seeking punitive damages after Agyapng described him as a criminal and thief and the mastermind behind the murder of his own subordinate, Ahmed Suale.
The New Jersey District Court hearing the case ruled in Anas’ favour, awarding him $18m in damages.
Anas had earlier sued Agyapong in Ghana but ended up being attacked by the trial judge, who called him an ‘investigative terrorist’.
