
A welfare committeeĀ Ā has been constituted by the National Sports Commission, NSC, and Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, for the Super Falcons ahead of the 2026 Womenās Africa Cup of Nations, DAILY POST reports.
The committee has been saddle with responsibility of ensuring a hitch-free campaign for the Super Falcons.
Aisha Falode, an executive board member of the NFF will chair the committee, while Ruth David will serve as secretary.
Other members of the committee are Rt. Hon. Margaret Icheen, Babagana Kalli, Emeka Iyama, Aderonke Tinuoye, and Tobechukwu Oluchi, a former Super Falcons media officer.
The Super Falcons have been drawn in Group C of WAFCON 2026 along with Malawi, Zambia, and Egypt.
Justine Maduguās side will open their campaign against debutants Malawi at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca, onĀ Tuesday, 28 July.
The WAFCON 2026 finals will be staged in Morocco fromĀ 26 JulyĀ toĀ 16 August 2026.
The four semi-finalists will represent Africa at the 2027 FIFA Womenās World Cup.
