The Commissariat d’arrondissement de Yeumbeul Comico has arrested two (02) individuals for association of perpetrators, attempted counterfeiting and forgery of currency signs. These arrests follow the exploitation of operational intelligence concerning the existence of an active network of trafficking in counterfeit notes in the area of Keur Massar. A search has been carried out at the address indicated, leading to the discovery, in the living room of an apartment, of a safe containing: • 1130 notes of 10,000 FCFA, or 11,300. 000 FCFA; and • 517 banknotes of 100 euros, or the equivalent of 33,863.
