Junior Nduka, the captain of the home-based Super Eagles, emphasized the necessity of securing a win against Sudan in their upcoming match at the 2024 African Nations Championship, according to Completesports. According to reports, Eric Chelle’s team was defeated 1-0 by the defending champions Senegal in their opening match of the tournament. The Eagles are set to face Sudan in their second match at the Amman Stadium in Zanzibar on Tuesday night. A victory in this game would greatly enhance the West Africans’ chances of advancing to the quarter-finals. Additionally, Chelle has announced that Taiwo is fit to play against Sudan, while Ozoemena is still sidelined due to injury.
