These works fall within the framework of the Programme d’amélioration de la connectivité des zones agricoles (PCZA), which aims to open up production areas and facilitate the circulation of people and goods. According to Aps, Déthié Fall welcomed the good progress of the works and asked AGEROUTE, in collaboration with the companies in charge of the project, to ensure their completion in the best possible time. “Vie that the works have very well advanced, on request à l’AGEROUTE, en rapport avec les entreprises, de faire en sorte que, dans les meilleurs délais, les autorités puissent procéder à leur inauguration”, he insisted. “We are pleased to announce that the work has been completed and that it is now possible to proceed with the inauguration of the new terminal. The Minister also recalled the importance which the President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, and the Prime Minister attach to respecting cost, time and quality in the execution of infrastructure projects. “The President of the Republic as well as the Prime Minister are extremely attentive to these aspects, and that is why we have begun this tour in the central zone (Kaffrine, Kaolack and Fatick) to recall these directives and to ensure that the works are catalysed”, explained Déthié Fall. According to him, this approach is part of a dynamic aimed at accelerating the realization of priority infrastructures in the service of the balanced development of the national territory.
