Since a few weeks, Senegalese citizens have been suffering the consequences of the strike of the justice workers, in particular the referral of cases and the unavailability of documents sought in the courts. Faced with this worrying situation, the Médiateur de la République decided to act, in order to find a solution. On the Rfm, Demba Kandji is in favour of dialogue. “In this situation, we must not play the role of spectators. We must act to stop this strike. The clerks have the right to claim and the State must respond to their claims. Without justice, the rule of law of a country is at a standstill.
