The 38th African Union Summit will concentrate on themes of reparatory justice and racial healing, operating under the slogan: “Creating a unified stance to promote justice and the payment of reparations to Africans.”

In February 2025, during the 38th AU Summit, the theme for the African Union (AU) in that year will be officially announced by the Heads of State and Government. The theme is “Creating a unified front to promote justice and the compensation of Africans.” The theme for the upcoming summit was determined by the Heads of State and Government during the 37th Ordinary session. The 38th African Union Summit will center on the topic of reparatory justice and racial healing, titled “Building a united front to advance the cause of justice and payment of reparations to Africans.”
